The EM Impact Awards recognise individuals or organisations that have contributed to Scottish society or made a difference to their community locally or nationally. 
The awards are administered by CEMVO Scotland and the judging panel consists of external representation from the sector and sponsors/partners.
The awards will honour individuals or organisations that have made a significant impact in 15 different areas.  You can nominate individuals or organisations for the following awards:  Business (Male and Female), Social Enterprise, Environment, Financial Inclusion, Employment, Health, Education, Sport, Housing, Youth, Arts/Entertainment, Empowering Women and Women in Leadership and a Special Recognition Award.  If you know of an organisation or individual that deserves to be recognised for their outstanding achievements, significant and meaningful contributions, professionally or personally advancing community involvement, charitable work or positively advocating and progressing meaningful change within Scotland, then please nominate them using the form below:

Business Impact Award

To acknowledge the vital contributions made by a business man and woman to the Scottish economy.  Given to an individual who is a positive role model that makes our communities a better place.

Social Enterprise Impact Award

Awarded to an organisation or individual that has made a difference to people’s lives either: socially, economically or environmentally through an innovative business model.
Environmental Impact Award Awarded to an organisation or individual who champions environmental issues either within their own organisation, in their sector or in the community and has made a real difference to their particular community.

Impact in Sport Award

Awarded to an organisation or individual who has used sports to make a positive difference in their local or wider community 

Impact in Health Award

Awarded to an organisation or individual who has addressed health issues prevalent within EM communities and contributed to the improvement of health or the uptake of healthy practices within their communities

Employment Impact Award

Awarded to an organisation or individual who is helping EM people in Scotland to gain employment, either through accessing training, education or associated support

Impact in Housing Award

Awarded to an organisation or individual who has improved the housing conditions, level of housing or advocated for the need for special housing on behalf of EM communities  

Women  in Leadership

This award recognises female talent in a leadership role in community or business. It is awarded to a female who is known to live and promote equality with the people she works with.  She inspires others to achieve their full potential and leads by example.   

Education Impact Award

Awarded to an organisation or individual who has advocated and improved education for EM communities or raised the aspirations and ambitions of EM communities through innovative approaches.     

Financial Inclusion Impact Award

Awarded to an organisation or individual who has made a difference to their community by ensuring that they have an understanding of financial products and services that would improve their circumstances.
Forestry Commission Scotland Volunteer Community Champion As a volunteer someone who has been on the FCS Volunteer Community Champion programme and has showed high standards of volunteering attributes such strong communication, commitment and leadership within their community.
Forestry Commission Scotland Environmental  Volunteering Award Awarded to a volunteer who has shown commitment to environmental volunteering that has benefitted their community and/or the wider natural environment.

Youth Impact Award

Awarded to a young person who has excelled in their local community and has made a valued contribution to ensuring young peoples issued are highlighted

Arts Impact Award

Awarded to an organisation or individual who has made a valued contribution within the arts and entertainment sectors.
Empowering Women Award Awarded to a women who has overcome personal barriers or obstacles in her life and is now on her way or has reached a positive destination   
Significant Achievement Award This award is a special award open to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to their community.  This contribution could be through their work, volunteering or philanthropy.  Or as a positive role model encouraging and motivating others to achieve a positive change for themselves or their community.
