Employability

We supported over 150 ethnic minority voluntary sector organisations and community groups throughout Scotland

Ethnic minority people in Scotland often face barriers to employment, resulting in lower employment rates, underemployment and unequal access to recognition, rewards and promotion compared to their white counterparts. This disparity is influenced by various factors including discrimination in hiring, limited access to opportunities, and systemic biases within the labour market. Our work in employability aims to help mainstream organisations develop fair and equitable recruitment across the pipeline and provide support and guidance to EM individuals wishing to enter the labour market.
