About The Capacity Building and Infrastructure Development Programme
Through the programme, funded by Glasgow City Council, participant organisations will work closely with a Capacity Building Consultant who will carry out an initial assessment of the organisation to identify key priority areas for development (this could involve areas such as funding, financial systems, strategic development, good governance, marketing, policies and procedures etc).
An action plan will then be formulated with the involvement of the client charity, and the Capacity Building Consultant will work with the organisation to provide support against these identified development areas over a 12-month period.

With Support From Our Funders
With Support From Our Funders, Glasgow City Council, we are proud to deliver free capacity building support to ethnic minority-led charities based in Glasgow. We are grateful for Glasgow City Council’s continued partnership in building a more equitable third sector.
The CBIDP continues to advocate for seed money from funding bodies to be made available to support ethnic minority-led charities to build their capacity in order to ensure deliver a high standard of service that addresses the needs of their beneficiaries.
