CEMVO Scotland’s mainstreaming service, the Race for Human Rights Programme (R4HR), has been designed to help organisations understand how to integrate equality & human rights into their work. As an anti-racist organisation, we are keen to support and implement the visions shared by the Scottish Government, such as:
“Initiatives to create organisational culture change around race equality in order to foster an environment which encourages diversity, including activity around anti-racism in the workplace” (Scottish Government, Sep 2021, p.39)
Therefore, reflecting the rising awareness of anti-racism, CEMVO Scotland are providing this exclusive session for R4HR programme clients, to empower and increase confidence when we talk about race, race equality and being anti-racist. We are specifically inviting those who are in a senior decision making position and/or a senior leader, including Board Members.
We will aim to cover:
- Internal and External influences on an organisations culture
- Recognising modern manifestations of racism in the workplace, and how to address this/shift the dialogue.
- Developing tools for change
