About this event
The aim of the Financial Capability Project is to empower ethnic minority (EM) communities across Scotland to become more confident and better informed about the financial choices and decisions they make to help improve their resilience for the future.
This is one of the 12 interactive workshops we will be delivering this year. These workshops will be targeting EM men/women/young adults and the wider EM communities who might be struggling to manage their money on a daily basis.
Credit and Debt interactive workshop talks through lending solutions available to you, explaining some misconceptions around debt and how to manage debt.
Chloe Caulfield , Barclays Money Mentor will be delivering this interactive workshop.
This workshop will give you a starting point to think about what you need to do to get the most out of your money and finances.
By the end of the session, you will :
- Understand what solutions are available
- Clear up the myths around credit and debt (Good vs bad)
- What to do about debt and how to mange it
