The Scottish Government have appointed two independent facilitators to lead on the National Discussion on Education, to develop a vision for the future of education in Scotland.
As an anti-racist organisation, CEMVO Scotland would like to use this consultation opportunity to provide a platform for ethnic minority (EM) parent’s, carer’s, adults, educators and young people to have their experiences, perspective and voices heard at a policy making level.
CEMVO Scotland is a stakeholder in the REAREP programme, (https://www.gov.scot/groups/race-equality-and-anti-racism-in-education-programme-stakeholder-network-group/) through which it is crucial to remain engaged with the diverse EM communities in Scotland, so that we can shape the influence of education for our future generations.
