The recent racial riots in many parts of England have sent shockwaves and fear among visible ethnic minority communities across the UK, including Scotland.

Although the riots have mostly targeted Muslim and Refugee communities, there is real fear and concerns around racism among visible ethnic minority people across all communities.

In response to these fears and concerns, CEMVO Scotland is organising a meeting with Ms Kaukab Stewart, Minister For Equalities to enable diverse visible ethnic communities to meet with the Equalities Minister to share their fears and concerns and to hear the Scottish Government’s response and approach to addressing racism in Scotland.

This is therefore an opportunity for visible ethnic minority groups to meet with the Equalities Minister to have a conversation about tackling racism in Scotland.

The meeting will be hybrid, in person with the Minister at CEMVO office in Glasgow and with the option to join online.

In-person event is booked out, but you can book for the online event here:
