Learn how to keep a track of your spending and create a budget plan

CEMVO Scotland’s Financial Capability Project will be delivering workshops on various financial topics throughout this year. The aim is to improve the financial wellbeing for ethnic minority families and communities within Scotland

This free workshop will be 1hr and 30mins session online on Zoom links will be sent out a day before the event.

These interactive workshops are for all ethnic minorities across Scotland who would like to improve their finances and resilience for the future. All our workshops are 100% impartial we will not be promoting any financial products or services.

This budgeting workshop is an interactive session showing you various resources and tools at your fingertips to help equip you to manage your money better.

You will get a better understanding how to :

  • Create a budget plan to keep a track of your spending habits
  • Recognise needs vs wants
  • Learn about attitudes and behaviours towards money
  • Set personal achievable goals to save and be more resilient for the future.

All the workshops are designed to be fun, engaging and interactive to help you get the most out of each session.

We also offer one to one sessions for anyone who would like individual support to help you get back on track with your finances. This is free, confidential and impartial support and guidance.
