Support includes learning, self-managing, coaching and mentoring. There will be opportunities to attend group training as well as individual assistance.
The holistic one to one support provided will be tailored to the individual’s needs taking into account religious, language and cultural requirements.
Through training and development, each woman will be nurtured and inspired to reach a positive destination to suit their circumstances and aspirations.

OPEN FOR ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS TO
REGISTER THEIR INTEREST HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Paid Work Placements programme will provide up to 90 people facing barriers to employment with the opportunity to work on a paid placement at the Real Living Wage. The programme is funded by Glasgow City Council and delivered by GCVS with our partners Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Enable Scotland, CEMVO Scotland, and Move On
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Individuals must be Glasgow City residents.
- Aged 16 to pensionable age who are not currently working but are
- eligible to work in the UK.
- Participants must be ready for work.
- Placements will be funded for between 18 and 26 weeks and for between 16 and 25 hours a week.
