Introduction
CEMVO Scotland’s exhilarating EMpowering Women programme will provide opportunities and life skills to women from Ethnic Minority (EM) communities. It will empower women to represent themselves in society and their workplace.
This project will support ethnic minority women between the ages of 25 and 55 years of age in the West of Scotland with a focus on Glasgow and surrounding areas.
The EMpowering Women programme consists of 2 projects:- Confidence and Wellbeing and Employability.
Every woman is different so will receive an individual action plan to help make informed decisions, overcome challenges and fulfil their goals and aspirations.
Confidence & Wellbeing
Support includes learning, self-managing, coaching and mentoring. There will be opportunities to attend group training as well as individual assistance.
The holistic one to one support provided will be tailored to the individual’s needs taking into account religious, language and cultural requirements.
Through training and development, each woman will be nurtured and inspired to reach a positive destination to suit their circumstances and aspirations.
